Experience The Masters

Note: Further information on the Masters Tournament 2022 event will be officially announced soon.

Each year The Masters Tournament draws in the world’s greatest golfers to compete for the prestigious title at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Patrons and fans witness the unparalleled talents of golfers who show their skills on the green at the annual invitation-only event. This April, the Masters Tournament 2022 will continue in its 84th year as one of golf’s biggest events.

The 2022 Masters Tournament

Golf’s four major championships kick off with the Masters Tournament, attracting the sport’s elite to the distinguished Augusta National Golf Club since 1934. Occurring this year from April 4th-10th, more than 90 players will compete, including former Masters Champions and the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking. A history of tradition, impressive athleticism and exclusivity has made the Masters Tournament one of the most highly-coveted tickets in the majors.

The Augusta National Golf Club

Formerly a plant nursery, the National stands as one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the world. The thoughtfully-designed course has had many upgrades through the years, but remains a classic for members and champions due to its pristine appearance and historical place in U.S. golf history. The property’s 365 acres are composed of an 18-hole course, clubhouse, private shopping center and plenty of lush, well-maintained greenery.

Winning the Title

Receiving an invitation to play in The Masters Tournament gives players a chance to solidify their place among an outstanding group of Champions. Players will showcase their talents at this year’s 2020 Masters Tournament in hopes of winning the hefty purse, with the winner’s share totalling more than $2 million. Aside from monetary awards, winners are also gifted with the Augusta National Golf Club’s signature green jacket, a tradition that has continued since 1949. The victor is also granted a lifetime invitation to the Masters to continue to defend or regain their title.

Masters Champions

Tiger Woods, a five-time Masters winner and 2019 title holder, will return to the 2020 Masters Tournament to defend his title. The Tuesday ahead of the tournament, he will be hosting the Champions’ Dinner, where the reigning Champion welcomes past winners and board members for a feast. The menu is decided based on the home region of the winner, with Tiger Woods planning to serve up California coastal dishes of steak, chicken fajitas and sushi for the 2020 gathering. Woods holds a number of Masters Tournament records, including youngest winner, winning by the largest margin, and lowest winning score.

Invitation Only

With the National being such an exclusive property, the Masters Tournament is known to be a hard-to-get ticket. Invitations go out to members along with a small selection of fans who were lucky enough to apply for the wait list during the two times in history it has been open. Even witnessing the practice rounds requires submitting an application a year in advance. Like previous years, the 2020 Masters Tournament is sure to attract top golf fans who are dedicated and connected within this exclusive, prestigious sport.

Crafting the Perfect Corporate Travel Experience

    The Corporate Travel Experience

From Los Angeles to Tokyo, the travel industry thrives in part because of the demand for mobility from businesses all over the world. Corporate travel is an important aspect of many companies as they aim to expand their scope to work with domestic and foreign partners. Having the perfect environment to conduct business is an essential part of creating a professional portrayal of your company when you’re away from the office.

Photo: Zocha Group – Crafting the Perfect Corporate Travel Experience

    Hotel Accommodations

The hotel you choose during a business trip can be the difference between having a productive work experience or a stressful stay. Some hotels are fit for families and have amenities targeted at parents and children. Others work well for vacationers looking to party. These types of environments can often become distracting when your prime focus is to conduct business. Choosing a hotel that isn’t in the center of tourist areas or near popular attractions can sometimes be the best way to ensure the atmosphere is right for your trip. Quiet areas like lounge spaces and business centers are also an essential in contributing to your productivity. Seeking out these types of amenities beforehand can help you make the right choice in narrowing down the best place to stay.

    Meeting Spaces

When leaving your city for business, you won’t have a private office space to be able to meet with clients or partners. Where you choose to conduct meetings can make all the difference in properly representing your company. Business meals can work well in certain situations—a casual lunch or corner dinner table at a restaurant can be great for smaller meetings that do not require privacy. However for larger groups or for discussing confidential matters, a hotel conference room can function as a great space to congregate. Technology like projection screens and wi-fi are readily available, and hotel staff members are there to help with making arrangements. Professionalism is key in creating an environment where your meeting can run without external factors to disrupt the workflow.

    Entertainment

Whether you’re traveling with your own team, or meeting with executives, clients or partners, there are many situations where you may need to provide entertainment for your group. It can be difficult to choose the proper place to bring your guests in a city where you’re unfamiliar with the best options. Sports games can often be an impressive choice and private suites can provide a space for conducting casual business. Private rooms at restaurants can also be viable options to enjoy a meal while mingling with your team. Impressing your guest can involve a great deal of planning, but when the right accommodations are made, the end result can lead to developing a valuable business relationship that ultimately helps your company.
