Coachella Parties 2019: A Guide to the Best Events of the Weekend

One of the best music festivals in the world is enhanced every year by a flurry of pop-ups, sponsored parties and branded events put on for the influx of festivalgoers in the area. Nearby cities like Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Thermal and Rancho Mirage act as the sites of these numerous unofficial Coachella parties. Their own music lineups and attractions draw in partygoers looking to make the most of their time in the desert. Get an idea of what to expect for this year’s festivities along with an updated list of Coachella parties for 2019 as they’re announced.

Neon Carnival: April 13th & 27th, 2019

Known as the best Coachella party of the weekend, the annual Neon Carnival has been one of the most highly-coveted wristbands as the guest list filled with actors, musicians, socialites and industry insiders is one where you can’t buy your way in. The exclusive, invite-only event put on by nightlife guru Brent Bolthouse has blossomed into a mini-festival itself, with carnival rides, a ferris wheel and world-renowned music acts taking the stage.

After moving to a larger location in 2018 to include an even bigger invite list, the party will be taking on multiple weekends for 2019 at the expansive HITS Desert Horse Park for its 10 year anniversary. The festivities will start off weekend one and pick up during the unofficial “weekend three” that coincides with Stagecoach Music Festival. This exclusive extravaganza will be sponsored by Levi’s as usual, along with Bondi Sands and the upcoming Pokemon Detective Pikachu movie.

Poppy

2018 was the inaugural year for this pop-up of h. wood group’s exclusive Los Angeles nightclub known for its celebrity clientele. Partnering with Kylie Cosmetics, Beats 1 and BMW made for a Coachella party to remember with plenty of A-list sightings including Rihanna, Cardi B and Paris Hilton. Kendall Jenner took the stage to DJ opening up for Diplo and a full surprise set from Lil’ Wayne got the crowd dancing.

Bootsy Bellows

Known for its exclusivity, an invite to the annual Bootsy Bellows party is hard to come by. The Los Angeles nightclub owned by h. wood group partners with McDonald’s each year for a pop-up event that attracts plenty of celebrities along with Los Angeles’ finest. The pool party fully stocked with musicians, models and actors digging into the selection of McDonald’s burgers makes for a day party dream in the sunny Rancho Mirage location.

#REVOLVE Festival: April 13th-14th, 2019

What started as an annual party has turned into its own La Quinta mini-festival that’s fit for fashion lovers, bloggers and influencers. A brand known for hosting events where their models hang out on luxury vacations, #REVOLVE Festival is no different with people like Chanel Iman, Sophia Richie and Emily Ratajkowski showing up to join in the weekend of pool parties and private events. Artists like Snoop Dogg, Migos, Rick Ross and ASAP Rocky have shown up in past years to entertain guests during the stylish weekend.

Desert Gold at The Ace Hotel & Swim Club: April 12th-21st, 2019

One of the more approachable parties of the weekend, The Ace Hotel’s Desert Gold event spans two weekends and is open for RSVPs in the weeks leading up to Coachella. DJs spin music all day long with the hotel pool open for drinks, food and taking a dip in the sparkling water. The go-to hangout spot in Palm Springs makes for a relaxing way to enjoy the desert sun.

Hyde Sunset

One of sbe’s favored West Hollywood venues, Hyde has made its way into the Coachella party scene by partnering with brands like Republic Records and TRESemme to create exciting collaborative events. Last year’s Foray Oasis party at the Foray Estate in Rancho Mirage had guests enjoying a DJ set by Brody Jenner while 2017’s Hyde Away party saw a performance from Hailee Steinfeld and a DJ set by Joe Jonas.

The Do-Over by Adidas Soundoff & Desert Sundays: April 11th, 14th & 21st

This roving international event shows up each year as a Sunday Coachella party that has been going on for years, continuing to be a great way to close out a weekend of fun. The Commune space at the Ace Hotel is taken over by photo booths, a food truck and Adidas merch while you hang out and dance to the sounds of the DJ. Take a dip to cool off as you round out your weekend with a relaxing day at the pool.

Vestal Village: April 11th-14th, 2019

This annual event held at an undisclosed location each year features live music and plenty of sponsored swag to keep up the good time. Past events have seen performances from Crystal Castles, Ariel Pink and Shiny Toy Guns along with hair and makeup makeover stations and sponsored drinks to fuel your buzz. DJs also take the stage in between sets to spin music while you cool off in the pool under the sun.

T-Mobile & Pandora Indio Invasion: April 13th, 2019

You’ll have a great time at this party that decks out the Cree Estate in Palm Springs with food, drinks and music. You’ll be partying poolside with up-close-and personal performances from artists like Charli XCX and Dillon Francis. The complimentary drinks and swag make this party a lively daytime event that leaves plenty of time for you to catch the artists at the festival.

VAMPPED Vacancy: April 12th, 2019

This social media talent and branding agency throws an influencer-filled bash each year alongside brands like BooHoo, L’Oreal Paris and Bumble. Guests travel to a private estate for a desert pool party with sponsored gifts and an open bar. Past parties have included attendees like Vanessa Hudgens and Emily Ratajkowski, and performances from celebrity DJs like Brody Jenner.

DayClub Palm Springs

Head to the Palm Springs Hilton for a pool party extravaganza at DayClub Palm Springs. Each day features a new artist performing to a crowd of lively partygoers, with international acts like Diplo, Rufus du Sol and Dillon Francis taking the stage. Upgrade to a Cabana to have the best spot in the house for this dance party in the desert.

TAO x Revolve Desert Nights: April 12th, 2019

The well-known nightlife brand TAO Group collaborates with Revolve for a warm, desert night of fashion, cocktails and partying. With past sponsors like Puma and Palms Resort, this highly-coveted event invite goes out to celebrities, influencers, models and fashion insiders aiming to have a good time in the Palm Desert locale. Past attendees have included G-Eazy, Halsey, Miguel, YG and performances from Marshmello.

Cafe Mambo Ibiza: April 13th, 2019

You’ll get a taste of the Ibiza party scene at this event held at The Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs. The Cafe Mambo bar is known for its iconic DJ performances and energetic crowd who get to party overlooking the Spanish sunset. ZOEasis: April 12th, 2019

Rachel Zoe’s fashion website The Zoe Report is throwing their annual ZOEasis event for its fifth year. The Parker Palm Springs hosts fashion’s biggest names for a light and airy outdoor soiree inspired by the Zoe Report brand. A-list attendees like Paris Hilton, Victoria Justice, and Whitney Cummings join models, influencers and Rachel Zoe herself to kickoff the weekend with style.

Deep in the Desert: April 13th, 2019

This party put on by Deep Space Productions is known to be a hot destination for invited guests with an appreciation for EDM and dance music. DJ Erick Morillo will be headlining the party again this year at an expansive private estate in Bermuda Dunes. Past Deep in the Desert attendees include plenty of A-listers like Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Prism Boutique Desert House: April 11th-13th, 2019

The Southern California fashion brand Prism Boutique brings its styling to the desert for a weekend of pampering and shopping to prep for your Coachella adventure. Stop by on Friday for mini makeovers and facials or come in on Saturday for hair styling and lashes. The cocktails and refreshments will keep guests happy at this oasis for indulgence.

Lucky Brand Desert Jam: April 13th, 2019

Head to Arrive Hotel in Palm Springs to make a splash at this annual pool party event. Lucky Brand jeans and Rolling Stone Live come together to provide drinks, live music and gifts for a guest list of partygoers.

Moschino Party: April 13th, 2019

This iconic late night event is a favorite for celebrities and fashion lovers looking for a way to end their weekend one Saturday with a bang. With this year’s sponsors like The Sims, Ciroc and Perrier, the party is sure to be an eclectic experience with legendary designer Jeremy Scott continuing to bring his unique aesthetic to the event. Last year’s guests included fashion-forward A-listers like Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid, Cardi B, and Paris Jackson.
