National Rosé Day

With National Rosé Day only recently being instated in 2015, the new and flourishing “holiday” has excited Rosé fans every year on the second Saturday in June. While there are official celebrations held by its founders, a group of well-established LA hospitality veterans have stepped up to bring a one-of-a-kind celebration to life this year in Los Angeles.

Moët & Chandon

The Rosé itself is the star of the event with sponsor Moët & Chandon contributing their Rosé Imperial, Ice Imperial Rosé and Grand Vintage Rosé 09 as featured Champagne selections. The exclusive wine partner, Domaine Bertaud Belieu, will provide their B.B. Rosé for guests to sip along with Voss keeping guests refreshed for the day. A portion of proceeds will also be donated to the event’s charity partner, Art of Elysium an art-based non-profit.

While the beloved pink drink will be the focus, Chef Marc Forgione of Iron Chef will be selecting his favorite gourmet food truck vendors to serve up their best dishes along with creating his own Rosé-inspired food menu to complement the beverage.

Live DJs will keep the energy going as guests sip on pink cocktails in a dress code of “summer chic” pastels and whites. Guests will find leisure games and activities to play in the open landscape along with browsing the available art and luxury brand activations for some summer shopping.

VIP Access

Alongside a General Admission option, the VIP Garden upgrade allows for access to a private lounge space and complimentary meal, dedicated bars serving Rosé-inspired cocktails, and expedited entry for a streamlined experience.

The event team, including Sylvain Bitton, JT Torregiani & David Jarret of LA’s own Warwick nightclub, released a statement saying, “As the inaugural year of ‘Rosé Day LA,’ we are pulling out all the stops to commemorate the national holiday that should be enjoyed by all. ‘Rosé Day LA’ will be the event of the summer.” Sure to be the exciting kickstart to a Los Angeles tradition, don’t miss out on the debut of this classic, summer experience.

Your Guide to the Perfect Yacht Week

Adventure is just around the corner for those planning to take an excursion through the seas with The Yacht Week. Whether you’re booked for Italy, Montenegro, Greece, or any of their other enticing route options, there’s plenty to prepare for as you embark on the week-long yacht party. Know what to expect with some helpful tips for making your Yacht Week adventure the experience of a lifetime.

The Yacht Week – Fabian Webster

Our Recommendations

As you plan your journey, there’s a lot to keep in mind in preparation for a week of excitement. Gather a crew of friends who are fun, responsible, and ready to live like a family for a week in close quarters on your boat. Don’t forget to also book a skipper so that you’ll have an expert navigator for those long days of boozy fun. Keep the trip silly by bringing costumes, floaties, face paint, and plenty of props to make your photo stream memorable. Pack only necessary items to save space on your yacht—a waterproof phone case, non-slip shoes, and an AUX cord are just a few essentials to make your excursion perfect. Each of The Yacht Week’s routes have their own unique experience to offer, with a few standing out as favorites among attendees.

Photo: The Yacht Week

Croatia

For those with an affinity for a wild party, Croatia may be the destination for you. One of the most popular of all the routes, the Croatia experience will have you partying at beautiful Fort George or dancing it out to EDM mixes at Club Vanilla. The Croatian coast is one-of-a-kind and you’ll get to join as many as 50 other boats of travelers ready to thrill seek alongside you. Put some money aside for port fees and bottle service to ensure you’re all set for expenses throughout the week. Shorter sailing days on this route leave plenty of time to focus on letting loose as you make lifelong friends on the Croatian waters.

Photo: The Yacht Week Croatia – Adam Bertalan

Greece

There’s something for everyone when you take in a week of Greek culture during this stunning route. Treat yourself to bottle service at one of their many nightlife and day party events throughout the week—Ermioni Island’s White Party is a classic that will have you decked out in your brightest whites to sip drinks on the ocean. With plenty of activities to do on land, explore each island and experience both tourist and local culture for an added bonus to your sea excursion. Port fees are a breeze on the Greek route, so use the extra cash for fuel during the long sailing days.

Photo: The Yacht Week Greece

British Virgin Islands

Sail through the tropics during the Caribbean BVI route, fit for a relaxing escape into the sparkling blue waters. Become one with the ocean by snorkeling, exploring the natural baths or getting lost in the numerous underwater caves. Locals will have you loving life with their deliciously made rum drinks and fresh seafood right at your fingertips. With more availability for a catamaran on this route, splurge on the upgrade to take advantage of the extra space and make the most of your trip. You’ll also want to set aside a hefty shopping fund for this destination, but beautiful ocean views will make up for the island prices. Day parties will be the peak of your journey as you dance in the sand under the clear, blue Caribbean sky.

The Monaco Grand Prix’s Luxurious Tradition of Celebration

An extravagant French tradition, the Monaco Grand Prix highlights the best of the best Formula One drivers as they show off their talents in the French Riviera. Since its start in 1929, the race annually draws in thousands of visitors to Monaco to be a part of the festivities and culture that surrounds the prestigious event. From celebrities to socialites, guests gather to celebrate the start of summer and experience the excitement of motorsports by witnessing the 78 laps around the impressive Circuit de Monaco racetrack.

Photo: Monaco Grand Prix

Winning the Monaco Grand Prix is considered one of the highest honors in motor races alongside the Indy 500 and 24 Hours Le Mans. With the three forming the Triple Crown of Motorsport, the race continues to be one of the most popular among Formula One enthusiasts. Normally a modest city of 30,000 citizens, Monaco’s population inflates to an average of 100,000 people as spectators travel from all over the world to cheer on their favorite drivers. The over 160-mile race is driven by dozens of talented Formula One drivers who head to Monaco each May to see if they have what it takes to win the hefty prize fund.

Photo: Mercedes

With high society being an integral part of the race’s audience, the rich and famous are drawn to the event every year to wine, dine and throw parties in celebration of the world-renowned event. From movie stars to politicians, the well-known attendees can be spotted living it up alongside the rest of the lively spectators. Reminiscent of a Hollywood red carpet event, guests like Hugh Grant, Ron Howard, Bella Hadid, and Kris Jenner can be seen mixing and mingling throughout the weekend. Even Royalty like England’s Prince Harry and Monaco’s own Prince Albert have graced the grounds with their presence. Whether they’re avid racing fans or just coming to socialize and celebrate, the VIP guests help make the event ticket all the more attractive.

Photo: TAG Heuer Monaco Grand Prix Event

Aside from the race itself, there are plenty of ways to spend time enjoying the French Riviera during a Grand Prix stay in Monaco. The infamous yacht parties thrown throughout the weekend are invite-only and often feature live music from A-list DJs, free-flowing Champagne, and plenty of caviar for your palate. Olympian Nicholas Frankl hosts an opulent annual yacht event where even the most well-known socialites and celebrities aren’t always able to snag an invite. With celebrities Kim Kardashian and Kanye West having been turned down in the past, Frankl’s exclusive 120-max guest list is limited to a hand-picked crowd of notable attendees. Last year’s Billionaire Club Champagne party held on the rooftop of the Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo was also a sought after invite. With stunning views of the Mediterranean acting as a backdrop to the poolside event, guests got to take in the seascape while popping bottles ‘til dawn.

Photo: French Riviera

Aside from the parties, event attendees can also take advantage of Monaco’s nightlife venues that get filled to the brim with partygoers during the popular travel weekend. Amber Lounge at the Le Meridien Plaza Beach Hotel is known to be a hot spot during the Grand Prix. A prime after-party location, the venue sees non-stop celebration by key players in fashion, entertainment and even European royals. La Rascasse has enough of a reputation that a part of the Grand Prix track has been named after the iconic bar. You’ll get a view of the race by day and an enviable indoor-outdoor place to party by night. If you’re looking for a day party getaway, The Fairmont Monte Carlo plays host to Nikki Beach–a pop-up pool club that overlooks a challenging bend in the race track. Cabanas and sunbeds fill the space while DJs keep the party going well into the night.

The Monaco Grand Prix’s rich history and continuous draw of thousands of racing fans has made it one of the most important Formula One races in the world. The week’s worth of festivities leading up to the race will have attendees enjoying their travels and indulging in luxurious dining, transportation, and revelry.
